Upon entering this vacated house my instinct was to attempt to reconstruct the essentially unknowable person who lived here last century, as the unmarked calendars indicated. My attempts were flawed, remnants of life were not left to provide me with reliable clues and the scene had been contaminated by the leftovers of previous curious voyeurs.
The only thing I am certain of is this: The occupant preferred to reside within the page torn from a tourist brochure.
